Practical steps toward more responsible logistics

USECINTL is committed to environmental sustainability in a way that goes beyond internal practices and basic regulatory compliance. The company actively collaborates with customers and service providers to promote and adopt best practices that support environmental responsibility across the logistics value chain.

Recognizing that logistics operations have an inherent environmental impact, USECINTL focuses on practical and measurable improvements. This includes enhancing operational efficiency and reducing unnecessary waste wherever possible throughout its processes.

Rather than relying on broad or generalized claims, the company prioritizes steady, realistic progress. The goal is to continuously improve environmental performance through consistent actions that create meaningful and lasting impact over time.

Where we are today

Today, USECINTL supports a range of logistics needs while keeping the same approach that started the company. Experience is not just about time. It is about learning what works and applying it consistently. That is what shapes how we handle every shipment today.

Environmental Management

At USECINTL, environmental responsibility extends beyond compliance. The company maintains a strong corporate awareness that is attentive to environmental concerns and committed to making a meaningful difference.

This commitment applies not only to internal operations and the organization’s own environmental footprint, but also to its broader business relationships. USECINTL actively engages with customers and service providers, encouraging and supporting the adoption of practices that enhance environmental sustainability across the supply chain.

Energy & Emissions

As a service based logistics company operating directly and indirectly in more than 100 countries, USECINTL recognizes its role and influence on climate and environmental health.

The company’s most direct opportunities to reduce energy use and emissions are within its own operations, including offices and warehouses. Here, USECINTL focuses on improving efficiency and supporting more responsible resource use.

Beyond its internal footprint, the company also promotes transparency across customer supply chains. By providing clear and reliable information, USECINTL helps customers make informed decisions when selecting service providers and designing logistics solutions that better support their sustainability goals.

Waste

USECINTL operates in a highly paper-intensive industry and also generates other types of waste, including used computer equipment, food waste, and general everyday refuse.

To address this, the Global Business Operations team regularly shares guidance with district management on best practices for reducing resource consumption and improving efficiency. The company actively monitors paper usage through its online print server and tracks progress using a Print Ratio dashboard, which helps identify opportunities for reduction and improved accountability.

In addition, waste tracking is becoming more comprehensive across the organization. Data related to recycling, general waste, and composting is increasingly being recorded as more Green Teams across various facilities contribute information through Scope 5. This growing participation supports better visibility and continuous improvement in overall waste management practices.
