Our Global Security Team is dedicated to supporting the USECINTL network by providing up to date tools and information in a clear, user friendly format. Security is embedded in everything we do at USECINTL, and everyone shares responsibility for it. Our people manage systems, processes, and service providers with a consistent approach that helps ensure cargo moves securely throughout our network.
At USECINTL, we believe security must be taken seriously by senior management and every employee worldwide. Our security program goes beyond a simple set of standards and rules. It is fully integrated into our district operations and procedures. With a Global Security Team, Regional Security Directors, and a District Security Manager in every district office, we ensure strong security support at every level of the organization.

The Security and Safety Standards are designed to address security across all areas involving employees, service providers, transportation, and information services.
These standards form the foundation of a comprehensive security program, covering personnel security, service provider management, physical and information security, training, incident reporting and analysis, and audit and measurement processes.
Each district is responsible for implementing and maintaining these standards to help protect global supply chains and the people we serve, ensuring a consistent level of security and safety readiness.
The Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program is a voluntary initiative that promotes global supply chain security and trade facilitation. Companies with AEO status are recognized as trusted trade partners committed to secure supply chain practices.
USECINTL participates in more than 20 AEO security and customs certification programs and supports the World Customs Organization SAFE Framework. The company meets AEO requirements for both security and customs through coordinated efforts led by regional teams and its CHQ Security and Customs teams.

The Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) is a voluntary program administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection to enhance supply chain security through collaboration with importers and logistics providers. Established after the September 11 attacks, CTPAT offers certified members benefits such as reduced inspections, priority processing, shorter border wait times, and access to a dedicated Supply Chain Security Specialist.
USECINTL has actively supported the CTPAT program for many years. The company became certified on February 28, 2003, was first validated in 2004, and revalidated in 2007, 2012, 2015, and 2019.
